Tax Engine Updates

• April 2025 Tax Engine Update

​General Improvements

• Added document security options for case documents (similar to comments).
• Add your own logo! Now you can upload your logo to show next to the Workia logo in the app. Find the new setting in Settings >> Administration >> Company Info

Cost Estimate Improvements

• Added new miscellaneous taxable and non taxable line items to start and end of relocations sections, enabling you to include company specific costs in your cost estimates.
• Added a new tax calculation method of "No Tax Protection", allowing you to create cost estimates where the employee is responsible for any additional taxes resulting from the move, including on any relocation related benefits and allowances.
• Updated the cost estimate PDF report to exclude the case type to avoid confusion between the template type and case type when sharing.

Fixes:

• Fixed an issue where line breaks in merge documents did not always save correctly.
