Product Improvements

  • Updated the logic for Employee ID handling for EY Integration:
    Home Employee ID is now optional, and if not provided, the system will use the Employee’s Integer ID.
    ৹ For Host Employee ID, if not provided, the Workia Identifier of the case will be used.
  • Added a "Created Via" column on the Administration Settings page which specifies how a user was created with options such as "Manually by Invite" , "Document Viewer", "Supplier Contact", and others.

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the approve button was not available for one-time users when there were multiple approvers, ensuring they can now approve or deny requests.
  • Fixed an issue where report charts could trigger an internal server error when segmenting data.
  • Fixed an error in reports where they would fail when the root was set as taxes.
  • Fixed an issue where BTR documents sent through the integration were failing to process.
  • Fixed a bug where, after selecting an owner on a ticket using the typeahead, the modal to create a new person was incorrectly opened.

New Feature: Stakeholder Landing Page and Unified Actions/Tasks Pages

  • Your stakeholders now have access to a new Stakeholder Landing Page, providing a clearer, action-focused experience for Stakeholder, Stakeholder Initiator, Supplier, Tax, and Immigration roles.
  • The Actions page now mirrors the functionality and look of the Actions section on the landing page, making it easier to see what needs attention. Stakeholders can view and complete checklist tasks, approval requests, and e-signature documents, as well as upload documents to a case.
  • The Tasks page (under Tickets & Tasks) for Admin, Mobility, and Collaborator roles has also been aligned with the stakeholder Actions page, with improved UI and support for approval requests and e-signature documents. Together, these updates deliver a consistent and efficient workflow across user types.

Fixes

  • Improved the Import Wizard for importing trips, allowing data to be cleaned within the import file before processing and resolving a few UI/UX issues.
  • Fixed an issue where checklist item start and end dates were not appearing in reports. Task start dates now reflect when the Progress field was updated to In Progress.
  • Fixed a bug that sometimes prevented reporting on cost estimate data.
  • Corrected Org Levels fields on initiations so that type-ahead works for all roles.
  • Fixed the owner filter on the Tasks page for Admins and Mobility users, enabling visibility of of tasks assigned to other case owners.
  • Fixed minor bugs on the Tasks and Actions pages, including correct display of case type on checklist tasks and e-signature documents, approval requests, and employee names on e-signature documents.

Product Improvements

  • Create page breaks in Merge Documents! Now you can add and clearly see page breaks in your document templates:
  • Added a manual Retry button for DocuSign documents. If a document has become stuck and cannot move to the next signer, this button enables you to request the latest signature details and move the process forward.
  • Improved support for non-standard or customized AIRINC data, providing more options and flexibility for Bring Your Own Data (BYOD).
  • Improved performance of the Actions section on the new Stakeholder Landing Page and the Actions & Tickets section on the case details page for stakeholders, so these areas should load more speedily. (The new stakeholder page is in limited release at present and will be rolled out to all sites in the next few weeks, message us for early access).
  • Changed settings for tasks set to start automatically to default to "Do Not Reassign Owner," instead of reassigning to the Case Owner, which generated unnecessary notifications.

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue with SSO authentication, so that users no longer need to follow a one-time login link and enter a security code.
  • Fixed a bug where attaching a previously signed e-signature PDF prevented a further signature being added.
  • Fixed an issue where e-signature email attachments appeared with incorrect filenames and missing file extensions, improving usability when downloading and opening documents.

Tax Engine Update

Product Improvements

  • Improved Compensation Calculation Reporting by making filter options a closed list. You now select from predefined options for Calculation type, Line Item Section, Line Item SubSection, and Line Item Second Sub Section, reducing errors from manual entry.
  • It's now easier to associate a milestone to a task when editing tasks in checklist templates.
  • Updated AIRINC data to support new routes: Germany → Boston-Outer MA, USA and Hangzhou, China → Cambridge, UK.
  • Updated org level data fields to be type ahead to try prevent duplicate values from being added to org level data.
  • Admins, Mobility Users, and Task owners can now see automatic due dates and reminders, with clear messages indicating when dates are auto-generated or manually overridden.

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where stakeholders were unable to see documents on tickets they had access to.
  • Fixed an error that prevented files exporting from the people screen in some scenarios.
  • Revived the ability to navigate to checklist settings from the top of a case checklist.
  • Fixed an issue where the "Manage Types" option went missing from certain dropdown fields.

  • We updated checklist templates in Case Settings to make it easier to associate Tasks to Milestones.
  • Batch Compensation Calculations now include filter options, making it easier to select cases to add to your batch.
  • We added support for custom lookup values (e.g. Job Level) for AIRINC Bring Your Own Data clients.

Fixes

  • Stakeholder initiators previously saw Edit buttons in the Immigration and Tax sections in a case, but they did nothing as they lack permissions to make changes. The misleading buttons have been removed.
  • We improved how errors relating to Docusign are reported and handled.

Product Improvements

  • More task automation - due dates and reminders can now be set automatically. You can specify due dates relative to Task Start, Case Initiation, Case Start, or Case End and set reminders for upcoming due dates.
  • Added new fields to Allowance Records:

Payment Type - One Time Payment or Recurring Payment.

Approved for Payment Checkbox, to improve payroll controls.

  • EY Integration has been updated to enforce new required fields during initiation, including Start Date, Home Employee ID, Origin Country, Destination Country, Home Company Name, and Host Company Name.
  • Updated Oracle HCM Integration so you can update automatically without requesting access

New: Talent Opportunity Planner (TOP) is now available to trial upon request. TOP lets your line managers and HR teams create talent opportunities, to assess costs, get approvals, compare candidates and help mobility provide a more guided planning experience. Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where immigration suppliers would see an error (“Oops”) on the case compensation section.
  • Resolved a bug with Workday integration that caused org level values to duplicate during initiation when the start date of the case is in the past.
  • Addressed a visual bug where the globe icon in the org info section did not appear immediately after adding a new value.
  • Cleaned up the top menu for non-mobility/admin users.

New Feature: Batch Compensation Calculations

  • You can now run multiple compensation calculations at once with the new Batch Compensation Calculations feature!
  • This enables you to quickly update multiple case records for salary changes, allowance updates, annual reviews or any other compensation adjustments.
  • The new and previous compensation totals are shown side by side so you can easily identify and understand any significant differences in the calculations.
  • Find this feature under a new Compensation menu item at the top of the page:

Some features have moved or changed:

  • Expenses have moved from the People screen to the new Compensation screen (see compensation top menu).
  • The Dashboard screen has been renamed Analytics in the top menu.

Improvements

  • Networking tweaks have been made to help some clients who were seeing new pages load slowly. If your pages are not zippy, something is blocking Workia, let us know by message in the app.

  • Fixed an issue preventing company documents from being deleted when they are referenced in a checklist.
  • Fixed an issue causing an error during initiations when flex benefits were being used.

There are no new features this week, but here’s an early heads-up on a couple of changes coming in the next few weeks. You’ll still receive the usual release notification when they go live — this is simply advance notice in case you need to inform stakeholders.

What’s changing:

New 'Compensation' menu

  • A new Compensation section will be added to the top menu.
  • Expenses will move into this section.
  • The upcoming Batch Compensation Calculations feature will also be located here.

Dashboards renamed

The Dashboards menu will be renamed Analytics.


Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where locked compensation calculations could not be unlocked.
  • Fixed an issue where document links were missing in policy query results, ensuring users can now navigate to the documents referenced in the results.
  • Resolved a problem where AI generated reports would remain stuck on loading, meaning reports now finish processing and display correctly.

Product Improvements

  • You can now (optionally) map organization data types to values, so that you only see valid options based on the type selected. For example, you can map Home Legal Entity to only show home legal entities, previously all values showed.
  • Ecosystem Integrations with suppliers using the Equus Platform have been updated to support document attachments for all service initiations.
  • Case Audit History now shows when updates to the case record are made by HRIS integration, email, or supplier, in addition to those made by the mobility team.

Fixes

  • Fixed milestones to display in correct order when previously saved records are refreshed.
  • Fixed an issue preventing stakeholder initiators and collaborators from creating initiations.
